Cogley Wells Studio is a London-based design practice working across architecture, interiors, furniture and objects. Our work spans homes, retail, hospitality and the intersections between them — places to retreat, host and share.
We believe exceptional spaces come from considering a building, its rooms and the pieces within it as one — where details reward those who pay close attention and the result feels coherent, not assembled.
We treat a place and what's already there as something inherited, not something to overcome. We bring the new to meet it, so whatever is added feels like it belongs.
Our work is built from relationships and thoughtful judgement as much as from drawings. It is brought into being by skilled hands, in materials chosen to be touched and to age well. Spaces and objects tied to the lives lived around them, made to be kept and passed on.
Cogley Wells Studio was founded by architect Jennifer Cogley and furniture designer Harry Wells. Between them they bring over thirty years of experience designing across scales — from global store concepts and country estates to side tables and bespoke door handles. Their previous work includes projects for Paul Smith, Brinkworth, P. Joseph, Macdonald Wright Architects and the furniture maker Benchmark.
Cogley Wells Studio is a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Practice.
